The whole terror thing...

Heya!
Just thinking about the whole terror thing, y'know with bombs and tubes and people dying and all that. Yeah well, I dunno about you but I'm not particularly terrified. I've got to say I don't think they're chosing their spots very well. I mean, if I were a terrorist bomber -and for anyone reading this, I'm really not. Even if I did intend on blowing myself up, I wouldn't want to take anyone with me. That would just be cruel- but IF I were one, I would head for the deepest underground tunnels, because then it would create more damage and be harder to clear the damage. Thing is, really wouldn't it be cleverer to blow up a really busy road that was above a close-to-surface tube line. 'Cause then, if it were strong enough dynamite, you'd stop cars, lorries, buses, taxis, pedestrians and the tube. Which is going to make more people notice, and going to prevoke more ... well ... terror. Which is what they're all about...right. Not killing people, although I guess that comes into it...maybe.
Um, but yeah. Terrorism. Fun, eh? Not really, I feel sorry for the victims families and friends. I mean it's not exactly fair, is it. They could've been asked before being sacrificed to make a point. But I guess these people don't work like that. I mean, that wouldn't exactly provoke terror. . . Maybe I've missed out on something here, but do they actually know who is behind this? I mean, what is the point? Heard a great quote today (although you must pardon some rather crude language in the quote, thing is) that I think it is very appropriate. It's very simple: "Bombing for peace is like f***ing for virginity". Beautiful in its own right.
So yeah, I think that's pretty much it on my views of the whole terror thing. I've got to say it wasn't very considerate of them to do it now, right in the holidays. Ruining our tourist trade and people's holiday plans. Although the taxi drivers and petrol people must be getting a good deal from it all. Ah well. Talk later, maybe.
